Taking Time for You, Chair Yoga

Choose to spend an hour exploring and listening to your body. Take time to give yourself the gift of “self massage” in a chair yoga session. You are invited to rejuvenate, hydrate, and move with purpose. Play with bringing release to your body so it no longer feels like you are wearing a tight suit. Bring a touch of wellness from head to toe by investigating how stretching in a chair can de-stress, re-energize, and help you find balance.
Restorative Aerial Yoga
with Shelly Dorai-Raj & Beverly Bachoo

All levels welcome for a restorative experience in the silks! Through the combined use of gentle movement, restorative yoga postures, bolsters, and more, Beverly and Shelly provide you with a uniquely restful practice using the aerial silks. Breath-work (pranayama) and a guided relaxation enhance the experience of connecting deeply within. Join us to relax, restore, and give support to Cancer CAREpoint.
Community Acupuncture & Meditation
with Bridget Puchalsky

Spend a restful hour with our Breathe Together Yoga wellness director and acupuncturist Bridget Puchalsky L.Ac. MTCM. She is offering a community auricular acupuncture session, a group setting acupuncture meditation utilizing calming points in the ear. These simple points can profoundly impact the entire system based on the principle that the ear is a microsystem of the whole body and nervous system. Those new to acupuncture are encouraged to take the opportunity for a gentle treatment. If you are familiar with acupuncture, this provides a unique experience of the beneficial affects of a group session with meditation. This a wonderful opportunity to support your well-being and help others going through their journey with cancer.
